1. Introduction

JBIN Project operates jbinproject.com. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We follow the Korean Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and apply GDPR-aligned principles where relevant.

2. What we collect

This site has no contact form and no accounts. We handle personal information in three ways.

  • Email and messaging. When you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we receive what you send, such as your name, email address or phone number, company, and the content of your message. Incoming email is read, sorted, and routed by AI agents running on JBIN's own systems before a person reviews it. Most of this runs on models JBIN hosts itself; where an outside model provider is used, it is one that does not use the content to train its models.
  • Website analytics. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location, browser, device type, and visit times.
  • Records from the former contact form. Inquiries submitted through a contact form that this site used to offer are kept in a restricted archive. The archive is not publicly accessible and is not used for any new purpose.

3. Why we use it

  • Responding to your inquiry and any project discussion that follows
  • Operating, securing, and understanding use of this website
  • Meeting legal, tax, and security obligations

4. Service providers

We do not sell personal information. We rely on the following providers to process it on our behalf. Some of them process data outside Korea.

  • Vercel, for website hosting
  • Google, for website analytics
  • Supabase, for the restricted archive of former contact form records
  • Our email provider and, if you use it, WhatsApp (Meta), for correspondence

5. How long we keep it

  • Correspondence is kept while the conversation or project is active, and afterwards only as long as legal, tax, or contractual obligations require.
  • Former contact form records are deleted three years after they were submitted.
  • Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics.

6. Your rights

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information where the law allows
  • Object to or ask us to limit certain processing
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
